Its time to start your search for your wedding dress….. here is a quick Q & A that we hope will help the planning of your appointments x

 

 

Do I need to make an appointment to try on dresses at Embrace Bridal?

In order to give you the best possible service and experience, appointments are preferred. Saturdays and School Holidays do get very busy, so it‘s always best to book in advance for the date and time your prefer.

 

How long will my appointment take?

Your first bridal appointment is scheduled for 1 hour, this is to ensure you don’t get too overwhelmed on your first visit. If you think more time is needed, we can always book you in for a second appointment.

Do I need to bring anything to my appointment?

Most brides have done a little research prior to coming to their appointment. Bring any pictures you have collected and keep an open mind. You don’t need to worry about bringing any special underwear or shoes unless you specifically want to try on dresses with them. We do have shoes in store you can use during your appointment.

 

 

What size gowns are available for me to try on?

Our sample gowns range from a size 6 to 28. We try our best to have styles in all sizes so that you can see what style suits your body.

How far in advance do I need to buy my gown?

Finding the dress is the hardest part… but don’t be surprised if you do find the one on your first visit. When ordering it is best to allow 8 to 10 months to ensure you are not rushed and have time for alterations.

 

Is my dress ordered in just for me?

Once you decide on and purchase your dress, we place a special order to the designer who will start making your dress specifically for you based on your measurements and the designers sizing guide.

When should I expect to receive my gown?

Once orders are placed, it can take up to 6 months for your gown to come in.

The dress arrives in store where we will steam and check your dress to ensure it is 100% perfect!

 

What is the payment options available?

To order your dress, we require a 50% deposit, if time permits you can start a layby with a 25% deposit. The remaining balance can be paid via our payment plans. Your consultant will brief you on this during your consultation.

How much are your dresses?

Our dresses range in price from $1600 up to $5000. Most would sit around $2000+ range. We do also have samples that can be on sale off the rack for heavily reduced prices.

Where do I get my alterations done?

Embrace Bridal have partnered with some of the most talented seamstresses around. We have seamstresses in Geelong, Melbourne and the Western suburbs which we recommend and can help you arrange appointments with. Our seamstresses are flexible and can work with you on dates and times that work to your schedule.

What else do I need to know?

Our consultants will walk you through everything on the day, so don’t worry about missing anything. We will also supply you with any details you need and copies of all the relevant paper work.
